Roll over the different menu items to see their highlighted states.
This is one of the menus I designed in 1998 for a CBT (computer-based training) course developed by Asymetrix Learning Systems for Sensormatic, Inc. The course was designed to train security guards in the use of the Sensormatic C-Cure 800 security system, and was pretty much a straightforward system simulation. The menus and other graphics were designed to be as engaging as possible to offset the otherwise dry content of the lessons. Given the nature of the product, the metaphor of a security guard checking out objects in a dark room seemed appropriate. I created the illustrations using Adobe PhotoShop.
